Communication Skill Training

Specialized programs individually designed for Deaf, hard of hearing, and people experiencing communication barriers such as aphasia, stroke, or cleft palate. These programs focus on communication strategies and skills as well as how to be included in different environments such as employment settings. Assessment required.

Fee: $100/hr – (materials, reports, and meetings $200.00) (plus GST if applicable)

Inclusive Workshop

This workshop is for people who are working or plan to work with a member of the Deaf Community. They will learn: signs for basic courtesy, how to make Deaf people, as well as themselves, feel more comfortable while interacting with each other, and some basic information about the Deaf Community and people who are hard of hearing.

Groups from 15 to 20 people. One three-hour afternoon workshop.

Group cost: $ 550.00 (includes teacher, interpreter and trainer, and handouts)
Additional charge for booklet: bulk - $6.00 each, individual - $10.00 each (plus GST if applicable).
